Dr. Crystal R. Francis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ReentryAdvisor, is a senior researcher and policy expert who believes that evidence-based practices should drive an organization’s agenda and the policy making process. With 13 years of experience serving as a Program Analyst for the federal government, and over five years of experience volunteering as the Executive Officer for the Maryland Alliance for Justice Reform, she saw a dire to connect citizens returning to Baltimore County and Baltimore City from a period of incarceration to comprehensive recidivism reducing services (Housing, Treatment, Education, Employment, Mentorship, and Healthcare). She launched ReentryAdvisor, a community-based reentry coordination, consulting, and case management consulting group to provide coordination of direct services to individuals reentering the community after a period of incarceration. She believes that by connecting people directly to services to help them achieve their aspirations we can break the cycle of incarceration, eliminate social stigmas, and build healthier and safer communities.
